I used the services of Deadhardrive following the breakdown of my NAS network hard drive made up of 2 Raid drives with a total capacity of 2GB (Don't buy a Buffalo drive!!!...). Price proposed at €1290 (I had to add to this the price of a new hard drive, €95 for 2TB + return costs).it stings a little (but it's still much cheaper than the other data recovery players that I had contacted) and when it comes to important photos... The disk was removed free of charge and sent in Romania (this probably explains the price difference). My data was recovered in 3 weeks. I am told a little over 90% of data recovered but in reality the rate is much lower because some recovered files are unreadable and some photos do not appear correctly (horizontal lines of all colors are displayed instead) . I'm a little disappointed...I recovered a good portion all the same. The service and exchanges are professional.

Good commercial contact, but among the "recoverable" data identified, only a part is readable and usable, the rest of the documents are corrupted or format not recognized.Operation not very convincing technically.-Edit in response to DeadHardDrive:According to your previous statements, what was in the !problem folder was not recoverable, but the others yes, I quote you:“All recovered files are readable and usable except files in !Problem”So I expected to find uncorrupted data in folders other than !problem.I think the situation would have been avoided with more precision from the start, such a sum might not have been incurred in this case.Cdt.

Here is my experience:I contacted another company in data recovery (which I will randomly call ChronoX). It takes place as follows. The estimate for two failed disks is:- 1230€ for a mechanical breakdown on the 1st disc- 1100€ for bad sectors on the 2nd diskWhen I ask what justifies the price difference between what is advertised on their site and the reality, no one knows what to answer me."From 599 €Electrical surge, platter surface slightly degraded, bad sectorsFrom 999 €Fall of the disc: damaged platters, fire, water, following a disaster "I ask for a price because I am bringing two discs, the 2nd disc is lowered to me at 960€.Unable to provide own backup media.When I ask if I'm going to have to pay if they can't completely recover the data, I'm told that at 60-70% of data recovered it's a success for them.Summary :2190€ tax incl.Obligation to buy them a new hard drive at full price.To be paid unless recovery is less than 30-40%.Second experience, with Deadharddrive.I contact them to be sure of the single price of 650€ (regardless of the failure) for a 2TB disk.I ask if a price is possible for two discs, the salesman tells me no but offers me free Fedex return, which in itself is already very good, since they are already the cheapest on the market.The exchanges are very pleasant and, importantly, we do not pay if the recovery is not successful.You can provide your own support.===> I received my data on the disc that I had provided two and a half weeks later and my data was completely recovered, all with very cordial exchanges, and listing of the data.Summary :1300€ TTC for two disks

I found this company by searching the internet. It seems like a strange process because I let my DD on Avenue des Champs and then I never heard from anyone for 12 days. After 12 days I had an email giving me the list of my folders/files. I just had to validate that nothing was missing and make the payement. Within 15 days I had a new DD with all my folders/files. 3. Results and payment
We will send you a list of all the files/folder recovered, so you can witness that the work is successful. We will then ask you to pay for our services before we send you back your data.
4. Dispatch
Once payment is received, we will send you back your data on a new Hard Drive/USB Key or give you a free download link (if less than 80Gb of data)
